There are no scientific studies conducted that have been able to prove the certainty that Feng Shui affects the world. However, some scientists have found interesting correlations. Many people around all over the world believe in the power that Feng Shui can bring prosperity as well as luck, opportunities and peace to their lives. Many reports having a better sleep and feeling more energetic because of the arrangement of their homes according to Feng Shui principles.
According to Feng Shui, there are nine Guas or zones of living. Each Gua is linked to the specific color scheme as well as an "element:" earth, water, fire, and wood. The center of the Gua is the earth.
Traditionally, these Guas are laid out on the Bagua Map or Magic Square. The form of art is about balance and how to build and maintain the flow of positive energy that results from it.
These comprise:
Here are four areas to focus on:
1. Front Entrance (Front Door, Foyer, Hallway)
The entry point to your home, also known as the "Mouth of Chi," is the place where the majority of the energy of your neighbors enters and also where the world outside connects with your inner one. Based on how you set your home, Feng Shui practitioners believe it can attract positive, negative, or even no energy. Make sure to keep your Mouth of Chi clean and clear of clutter and well-lit. Shoes and boots need to be put in a storage unit with a neat layout. A table for putting your mail and keys on is the best option and so are the mirrors on the walls for additional lighting.
2. Kitchen
It is not surprising that Feng Shui practitioners consider the kitchen as the most important symbol of food. In itself, the stove is believed to represent wealth.
Maximize the wealth you have to the maximum by keeping the kitchen clean of pans and pots, and put a mirror on it to mirror the heat. The idea lies in reflecting the rich source (the cooker and the); the mirror can boost the amount of money flowing from this source.
The idea of covering the drain in the kitchen is also believed to improve wealth. Keeping the vase or plant of flowers on any surface in the kitchen is thought to boost the energy in the space.
3. Bathroom
Feng Shui practitioners believe the bathroom can either remove and drain or restore and increase wealth as well as health dependent on the way its interiors are constructed. Every drain is believed to drain positive chi from the space, so making sure that you keep your toilet seat in place and the drains in a covered area is the first step. It may also be helpful to keep the door of your bathroom shut.
4. Bedroom
In the bedroom, we replenish our organs and cells when we sleep. It's also a space for love and romance, so it is recommended to maximize these benefits by removing all electronic devices (televisions and computers, iPad, and so on) from your bedroom, as these devices bring all the harshness of the world in times when you want to unwind and recharge. The bed should be placed in the Feng Shui practitioners call a "command position" with respect toward the entrance (with an open view of the doorway to your room, but not directly in the direction of or adjacent to the door but rather diagonally or catercorner to the door, if it is far as you can).
